What do you think cause the achievement gap?
I think the government causes achievement gaps because they have all the money to make every school better

What can students do to close the gap?
Use their their full potential
Dont do drugs
Stay focused and on task

What can parents do?

have high expectations
more classes

What did you think of Mr. Hayden?
He talks about politics in a funny way and he sounds charasmatic.

Tom Hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights Leader. Do you see him as one? Why or why not?
Yes he is a civil rights leader because he rounded up many people to protest the Vietnam war. He interviewed Malcolm X.

Tom Hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds or thousands of people behind them. What does he mean by that?
Without the people you cant be notice in the country. You need them so they can support you. They can make a big difference in a crowd.

Our soccer team was killed at Ham And Cheese. 10-0 was the score. We did not have a chance to score. Every player from Hamilton is a senior and they were taller than me. We better win at home at Oakwood. :(

The sign "stop hurting yourself" means that if you do something that hurts somebody they are not going to respect you later on when you need their help. They won't be able to make right choices and end up hurting themselve.
